This is a well-made, reliable-appearing edition with well-selected conversations. It's perhaps not as interesting to everybody as it is to me because I have to wonder to what a degree I'm a copy of Rathenau's friend Gerhart Hauptmann, but it anyway provides a rich panorama not only concerning Rathenau, himself, but likewise many other figures of the Germany of Rathenau's time.
