As someonw who is deeply interested in atomic tunneling, I enjoyed the perspective of this volume (although I could do without the "biology" and the "interstellar medium" chapters, which seemed both too technical and didn't really tell interesting stories regarding atom tunneling.

You won't learn how to calculate anything, but you will learn lots of neat applications and get a foot into the literature.
