Spiritual Assessment describes a complementary set of assessment spiritual histories, spiritual lifemaps, spiritual ecomaps, spiritual genograms, and spiritual ecograms. In addition, it presents a variety of empirically-based interventions that flow from each instrument, along with several case examples for illustration
I'm reading this book as I work on my own research on spirituality and the workplace. This has some helpful techniques for interviewing people about spirituality. Some of the techniques are classic, the sorts of things I learned in chaplaincy. Some of the techniques are more innovative, and would be helpful in group workshops, such as drawing a map of your spiritual life and growth, including your work life events.
A note: This book obviously went to press too soon because none of the tables or diagrams appear in the book, just the placeholder text, "Place Diagram 2 here." It's also full of typos. Clearly no one hired an editor!
