"You can use just about anything to make a magic circle, but salt is often the most practical. It’s a symbol of the earth, and of purity, and it doesn’t draw ants.
You only use sugar to make a circle on the carpet once. Let me tell you."
Chris
I read this? Seriously?

I don't think so, GR. I never heard of it, and I don't generally spend time reading role play manuals.

“AAAA Wizardry” is about Harry teaching a class to up-and-coming new Wardens about how to investigate various supernatural threats. It alternates with a story dealing with a threat to a member of Paranet by way of explanation of the theories Dresden is teaching. Quite interesting story, very well-done. It also explains why you should use salt, and not sugar, to make your magic circles on the floor, just in case you were wondering. This isn't really a book, per se. It's a Role-Playing Game. However, with that said, If you've read other books in the Dresden-Verse, this adds to the experience even if you have no intentions of actually playi g the game.

As a game, its a fun read, but I'm not so convinced of the system.

The companion book to the "Your Story" book of the same game line; not completely necessary to play the game, but a valuable resource nonetheless, especially in regards to the enemies it details.

More a setting book than anything else, since it focus on a series I loathe, I cannot give it more than 2 stars, as it does not even have the originality and craft of Your Story.

An amusing short story of our favourite wizard Harry teaching a class of student wardens on investigating paranormal events.

Started off a little weak, but it got better. Good snippet of the Dresden universe.

Not absolutely necessary to playing or running the game, but the "What Goes Bump" section is going to be very useful to the GM, and the rest of the book offers a lot of inspiration.
