Another great title from Arrhenius. This one is all animals. They all end with a mirror, and I love the quality (especially the felt flaps). There are five page spreads with four animals (the last is the mirror).

These books are predictable, and that's their strength.

NOTE: I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review.

Average lift-the-flap book revealing animals. No unifying story

My son loves lift the flap books but he doesn't have any with felt flaps. Hoping these are harder to tear! So far he's obsessed with this book just from a texture standpoint.

This book features 4 pets: a cat, a goldfish, a dog, and a guinea pig. The flaps are also designed for the context, e.g., a dog hiding behind a sofa. A mirror hides on the last page, adding an extra surprise for the little reader. This book does not use 'Mr' and 'Mrs.' for the animals, which is better and less stereotypical than the other books in the series.

10.5 month old Leo loves flipping the felt flaps. Mom loves that they are securely attached to the book!
