I’ve always loved the Creeper. I don’t know why but ever since I was little he’s always been my favorite Scooby villain and when I think of him I always picture him at the carnival like in this book. This book was cute but needs some work. Some of the pictures did not match up with the writing. For example, it said Scooby and Shaggy saw a giant donut and the Creeper jumped through the center of it to chase them. In the picture that depicted it though the donut was only about up to Shaggy’s waist, which is a pretty big donut, but the hole was no where big enough for the Creeper to jump through. He could have maybe stuck his head through to scare them but that would have been about it. Also I didn’t really care for the ending. I had no problem with who the Creeper was and why, but supposedly how Velma and the gang knew who the Creeper was made no sense. There would have been much more obvious ways to figure it out or there could have been more in the plot to lead them to their discovery, but the way the author wrote it just doesn’t make sense. Overall the book was cute but it just needed a little more work to be better.

I love the original scooby-doo show and all of the villians from it. The creeper is an iconic character and it's rather annoying to watch them reuse masked villains with new characters and new plots. Despite that some of the stories are good if you can multiverse it..

Unlike most of the other Scooby-Doo books in this series this one was not solvable. The clues were kept hidden and the mystery was hand fed at the end. The story itself was good earning it a 74% percent compared to the average 84% of the other books in the series.

The other annoying thing is that the pictures often didnt line up with the descriptions in the book.

“Scooby-Doo! and the Carnival Creeper” by James Gelsey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre: Mystery

The Scooby-Doo episodes that took place at a carnival or circus or fair were always my favorite so this was no different. Sadly, one piece of information was left out, so my guess as to who the creeper really was was wrong. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fun book to read with Cooper. Didn’t know who it was until the final reveal.

This was a huge mystery for the Mystery Inc. Gang, Scooby, Velma, Shaggy, Fred, and Daphne. My favorite part was Bossie the laughing elephant. She is so cute. The mask reveal was such a mystery. Why would this person do this to the Carnival. I found this book a huge mystery. I read it to my little sister and she wouldn't let me put it down till we finished the book. She seemed intrigued by this mystery of the carnival creeper. I definitely will be reading more of this series.

We all adore Scooby-Doo in our household, so we jump at the opportunity to read a book in the Scooby-Doo! Mysteries series. This is a fairly typical Scooby story, with creepy characters, fun chases, and lots of food. Our girls enjoyed this story.

I say, we all read about Scooby and the gang and try to find thr mystery person. There's a chance who you thought it was, isn't your guy... Definitely a good read.

The gang heads to a carnival to find it terrorized by a “Carnival Creeper”. More exciting and entertaining than some of the other entries.
