This is a good one for people just starting out to get their private pilot's license. Had I read this while getting my license, I think I would have had an easier time understanding all that I needed to study. Cook covers topics that my flight school never did. It would be nice if he covered them in more detail, but Cook focuses on the philosophy that a good pilot never stops studying. His book provides a great list to keep studying from.
