Bamboozled: How Americans are being Exploited by the Lies of the Liberal Agenda

Which political party gave rise to the Ku Klux Klan? Which political party opposed extending the vote to women? Which political party attempted to filibuster and kill the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Which political party in 2007 tapped as President Pro Tempore of the Senate a former Klansman? ( It wasn't the Republicans.) Bamboozled demolishes once and for all the lies Liberals use to manipulate and exploit Latinos, women, and blacks. Based on a mountain of research and personal interviews with top leaders and insiders, McGlowan dismantles Democrat deceptions and exposes Liberal lies, Unveiling the Left's racist past and exploitative present, McGlowan points all Americans toward a bamboozle-free future.

One of the best books I have ever read! Angela comes from a great perspective - a female minority who exposes how the seemingly generous policies of liberalism actually serve to keep minorities down. By "taking care" of minorities with programs, they actually make it easy for them not to fulfill their enormous potential. It buys their votes and keeps them poor. It's a pretty obvious strategy - since liberals rely so heavily on the poor to get elected, why would they implement programs that would actually raise people from poverty? She also points out how the Democrats have always used the African Americans - they were pro-slavery when Republicans wanted slavery banned, Democrats founded the Ku Klux Klan, and LBJ figured out that by putting programs in place he would get votes while simultaneously continuing to keep these groups in bondage. I highly recommend this book!

She has some pretty good points, although I don't agree with her stance on the minimum wage at all. As with any books involving politics, you have to be able to read through the propaganda and process what info is useful for you. Also, it always slows down the progress when you're reading a 4 year old book.
