The sixth edition of Clinical Examination continues to serve all medical trainees with a clear explanation of history taking and clinical examination. Set out systematically, this best selling textbook has comprehensive coverage of the skills necessary for clinically evaluating patients. Thoroughly evidence based and referenced, in full colour with superior artwork and design, the book comes with free and complete access to Student Consult.
This is the best book to read clinical examination from. The author has a clear understanding of what is medicine and what is not and tries his best to convey that information to reader. Traditionally held (wrong) beliefs are challenged in quite plain text. For example, what's the normal respiratory rate, according to you?
An excellent book for mastering the basic skills like history taking and physical examination. I have reviewed it multiple time over the years using the fourth, fifth and now the newer sixth edition. the new edition is very colorful and has many useful tables summerizing high yield information. highly recommended.
