So I have a problem with the name of the book since I was expecting something to do with angels or stories of that type. But it’s mainly about prayers being answered. Some of the stories I actually found tedious. Like after the third or fourth story about something or someone going missing and then being found. There were are a couple of the stories that I did found touching. So, people that love Chicken Soup for the Soul might also enjoy this book.

The stories were short and easy to read. I do understand that the Lord shows tender mercies to his children but sometimes a story would hit because maybe I knew someone in the same situation who had tons of faith and they were not shown the same mercy. For that reason this was a tough book for me to read.

Some sweet anonymous angel left this book as a gift on my porch after my husband was diagnosed with cancer. It had some really nice, uplifting stories. I enjoyed reading several of them out loud to my kids while we were traveling. I think most people who read this will find themselves remembering times in their own lives when the Lord has given them a tender mercy--I know it helped me remember some from our lives--with hopes and prayers for more in the future! :) Good book!!

My hubby wants me to mix in a few inspiring or spiritual uplifting books with my "silly youth fiction" novels. I thought it was a good idea and started with this one. It's filled with quick, short stories that you can read in 10-20 minutes. I enjoyed that because I could just read a little bit and they were such sweet, great stories.

This was a book of great stories of people following promptings receiving blessings. But hardly any stories of angels (whether from beyond the veil or humans acting as god's messengers), which is what I was hoping for. There are a few brief mentions of angels, but mostly not. So perhaps the problem is this was mis-titled.

This is a compilation of uplifting stories that show how prayer and listening to the spirit have changed peoples lives. It is a great book to pick up when you only have a few minutes to read. I enjoyed sharing each experience with the authors, and feeling of the spirit myself.

This is kind of like the Chicken soup for the soul books, though all stories are about the tender mercies of the lord, like answered prayers, and promptings of the spirit. It was easy to read!
