Saw this author and book on THE QUILT SHOW and just had to have it. I have seen several lectures by Edyta and find her delightful.
This book teaches you how to use paper piecing to make large number of triangles to make her quilts. The pattern in the books are quiet diverse. Medallion, star quilts, basket pattern, tree of life quilt. My only complaint is that Edyta does not give the numbers of triangles needed to make larger and smaller sized quilts.
Edyta designs batik fabric for Moda but she shows you how to use a mixture of any style of fabric in these quilts.... the more fabric the merrier... VERY scrappy.
