I just finished listening to a book called Taoist Sexual Secrets: and if you know a bit about acupuncture it really helps to understand the book. The Taoist seem to really have this subject down although I not sure if you don't know about chi (means as life energy, lifeforce, or energy flow in chinese medicine, martial arts, sex and spirtuatlity, ) and Yin and Yang on the body...well YIN is mostly always woman and Yang is the men, but not all parts of men and woman are pure yin and yang. If I didn't know so much about acupuncture I would not have thought this book was very helpful or even good at all. But if you do know about acupuncture I think this book you will find very interesting and helpful and you wil indeed learn ways to intensify and better your sex life and it WON"T get boring...and if you want you could read this page and the 3 pages that follow it (at the bottom of this page are links to the other sections in GREEN) http://www.compassionatedragon.com/ta...
If you want to discuss this book more and you are a friend email me on Facebook or if you have my email address email me...I don't know if good reads has a way to email your friends here if they do direct me to where it is and send me your note. Happy listing or reading!
AUDIO BOOKS and BOOKS review... I only listen to books and I occasionally read books, due to a injury it hurts me to read books but it has been a blessing in disguise because since I was hurt I have listened to literally hundreds of books in just about 4 years- I feel extremely well read now and I was not well read before, in fact I didn't read much at all expect what I had to for school..now i enjoy listening and trying to read every book from classics to non- fiction, a few fiction and I am about ready to start the sci fi books next...after I finish reading all the major non-fictionos. AND when you listen to a book it goes faster plus they seem to pick always great readers for the books and if the author is a good reader it's so cool to listen to how they sound reading the book which I find very helpful and soothing in most cases, well depending on the books but I do like a soothing voice. Also you hear how they say it and it brings more meaning. If it is a book with looks of pictures, for example "the hidden messages in water" you would want to get the book since it has so many great pictures. HOWEVER if time audio book know pictures or charts are key they normally include a PDF file so you get all the pictures and charts! But for the book I just mentioned the pictures are so cool that you want the book. I have both the book and the audio because the audio really helped me to not hurt my neck further. I would have never thought reading would be a big hobby of mine but since I began audio books it's a major hobby of mine. I read about 3 books a week on average and I also am able to re read them in a weeks time. I listen while in waiting rooms, when I driving frequently listen to audio books over music if by myself and I also listen while doing chores around my house. So that is just a review on audio books verses books. In summary, like I said, I think I am very well read, I mean "listened" now compared to 4 years ago. It's probably my second favorite hobby! Good reads is great because I can read recommendations and it helps me select my nexus books. I bought a ton of credits from audible.com this year instead of paying $14.00 to get books worth near 40 and 50 dollars or even 25 dollar books. I paid a lump sum this year so I would get tons of credits towards books so each book only costs me really about 8 dollars...and i use those credits for books that are $20 and up and if it's only a few dollars or even 10 dollars or so I just pay cash but I get the members cost...it's really a great deal. You can also share the books up to 5 times with friends which is cool. Occasionally I buy books that are not yet on audible from SOUNDS TRUE another book seller and audiobook seller but the are much more expensive...so now I write audible or call them, I know people there now I have bought so many books, and I ask them to obtain the book for me and usually it takes them about one or two weeks and hey have it added..so if I feel like it can wait i just wait for audible to put it on there site and buy it then. Occasionally though SOUNSD TRUE has live interviews and book discussions with the authors over a four week or six week period and you can talk to the author that way, those are really neat opportunities if you have favorite authors of the books you have liked that SOUNDS TRUE also carries, an example is Dr. Clarrisa Pinkola Estes- she has had some great weekly sessions about her books and you get to ask her questions and it's really cool. Anyway, enough said. LMK if you have questions.
Was looking for a nice female voice to listen to, Rachel fills the bill on that one. She could read the telephone book and make it interesting. Not sure if the practices they talk about can work, but just listening to the medical perspective by Rachel, clears the Chi. Overall a nice education in how to view sex without embarrassment or repression. Not so sure the practices will work, will listen to again and try to do more of the Chi movement they talk about. Regardless of success, it's a good sound and an educational one at that.
One odd thing was how the audio book ended. The two narrators delivered their last little bit about the practices and without warning the book ended. After all the talk about love and so on, it felt like they needed to have a more elegant ending. Slam bam thank you reader, was how it seemed.
This book gives some excellent exercises and practices to do to move your sexual energy up to your other chakras. which for a guy helps them never release + last longer essentially. very informative book on this topic.
