In 67 short pages this little pocket book will give you a great overview of wine. There are short descriptions of the various grape types and most popular areas where wine is made. There's also a section that gives various descriptions of the tastes of wine and what they mean. I learned that I don't like heavy tannins in wine. It falls a little short in offering wine/food pairing. This particular version is from 2004. It would be interesting to read a more updated version.

Lame!

Vastly oversimplified and apparently pretty dated.
