While I love the indestructible books, I was disappointed that there were no words. I fortunately remembered this nursery rhyme but if I didn't know the words this book isn't helpful! Cute images but I prefer the books with words for stories.

This book came in a music-themed early literacy kit that Jack and I borrowed from the library. Jack is too old for it, but he did find the dog laughing at the cow to be funny. Though, the cow looked like a pig because it is pink. We both thought it was disappointing that the words to the nursery rhyme weren't on the page. I understand the book is for babies, but it is important for kids to make the connection between printed words and parents reading aloud. Also, if you don't remember the nursery rhyme perfectly (like I didn't), it's annoying to have to look at the back of the book when you could just have it on the page.
