كتاب ترجم من انكليزية الي عربية " الوقود الحيوي ومخاطر عولمة" كتاب فريد من نوع يتناول عن ثورة الطاقة وطاقة حيوية تحديد كبديل جديد الذي يستخرج من محاصيل الزراعية مثل قصب سكر، جاتروفا، الذرة الرفيعة (سورغام)، تاثيراتة وخصائصا على مجتمع واستخدامتا، ارقام ذكرت ان الوقود حيوي يمكن ان يستخدم في الطهي، توليد الكهرباء، التسخين، ووسائل النقل بدءا المشروع بالسبعينات وقتا ازمة البترولية كالدافع الرئيسي بالمستقبل طاقة لعبت دور كبير في تطور البشرية ابرز دول جرت فيها تجربة الطاقة حيوية امريكا، البرازيل، الهند،
اندونيسيا، ماليزيا، تنزانيا، جنوب افريقيا، السودان قامت بالتجربة انتاج الوقود حيوي بالزراعة اشجار جاتروفا وانتاج ايثانول يستخرج من قصب سكر والذرة بلغ انتاج حوالي 30 مليون لتر وكذلك يستخدم في انتاج سكر.

Faktenreiche, fundierte und durchdachte Entzauberung eines Mythos. Dabei aber kruzweilig und verstädnlich geschrieben. Die Exkurse in die unterschiedlichen Disziplinen der Wissenschaft bleiden auf das Wesentliche beschränkt. Fazit: die Forcierung des Biotreibstoffs verlagert die Risiken in andere Bereiche und auf andere Kontinente. In kurzer Zeit zu einem Standardwerk geworden
