This book was edited and compiled by Roberts Liardon. John G. Lake had the spiritual gifts of healing. He also operated in the gifts of tongues and interpretation. Some of his healings are documented in this book, as well as some of the interpretations of the tongues he spoke are in this book.
This book has some of his sermons and you will get to know his heart and what he learned through the Holy Spirit. As with all who operate in the gifts and power of God...the Holy Spirit is emphasized greatly, especially the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
John G. Lake's mentor was John Alexander Dowie. You can read more about him by doing a basic Google search.
This book encouraged me to operate in the gifts of the Spirit and remove the lie of the enemy that the gifts of the Spirit are no longer active in our time. The gifts of the Spirit are active, it is the church that is ignorant of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and have digested false doctrine to support this. It is time that the church embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit and begin to do the will of God. For without the gifts of the Spirit, the will of God is not being done on this earth.
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. (See Acts 1:8)

Fantastic book. Over 300 pgs. The book consists of the autobiography of John G. Lake and his healing ministry. It also has several sermons, letters, publications from John G. Lake. The entire book consists of the operation of the Holy Spirit and the manifestations of healing through people's testimonies. Great book if you want to learn more about the person of the Holy Spirit as part of the Trinity & the gifts of the Spirit.
