Taking the Lead on Adolescent Literacy is a great resource for anyone trying to bring about change in his/her school. The book lays out step by step how to build a literacy leadership team, write a literacy action goal, implement a plan to achieve the goal, and carry out the plan. The book also has some great rubrics to help literacy leadership teams decide what their goal should be. The book is laid out in a user friendly manner and is easy to read.
