One of the most amazing devotionals I've read. This is a reprint of the original 1926 version. It covers a bit more than just the Precious Blood by discussing related things such as the Devotion to the 5 Holy Wounds, the Scourging, and the Passion and Crucifixion. It references several saints, and it has multiple prayers throughout and at the end. This is something that all serious Catholics should read, study, and reflect upon. Jesus shed His Precious Blood for our sins. May we always remain grateful for this.

A priest friend of mine recommended this devotional booklet to me because of my deep involvement and commitment to spiritual warfare and prayer. This booklet focuses on the spiritual meaning and strength of the shed blood of Christ - "the precious blood." The reference to "precious blood" refers to the blood shed by Jesus at the scourging pillar, the way to the cross, and the cruxifiction. The book focuses on the devotion of the faithful to invoke the "precious blood" for those in purgatory and those suffering in life. The 'Precious blood" is crucial in confessing venial sins which could lead to mortal sins. Included in the book are devotional prayers by St. Gertrude, St. Mary Madelene, and others. Included in this booklet are several devotional prayers. I recommend this for the faithful.

An excellent summary of this special devotion

This is an excellent summary of the devotion to the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ Our Lord. I hope all who read and use this book may grow in holiness and grace and pray for the salvation of all those who are otherwise in danger of eternal punishment.

Good Look Into This Devotion

While this is a quick and easy read, it provides the reader with some nice background material and it provides prayers and ideas for going deeper into this devotion.

A beautiful (and very short) prayer book I used during the month of July which is traditionally devoted to the Precious Blood of Jesus. Although it is very short, it is filled with information regarding history and devotion to the Precious Blood.

"Devotion to the Precious Blood" is a terrific little book that explains the power of this important devotion. It also provides a few of the prayers. It's a great book that I'm glad I own.

Short and sweet. Invaluable even just for the fact that it describes the wonderful devotion of offering the Bloody and Wounded Body of Our Lord, through the hands of Our Lady, to God the Father. Excellent.
