Who doesn't love Veggietales? Wholesome, check; clean, check; good values, check; and most importantly: teaches children about God, check! Most cartoon shows and movies will eventually let you down in some way or fashion; however, this has never happened when it comes to this wonderful show.

"God Made You Special" is an adorable tale about how God made each and every one of us in His own time for a specific purpose. It reminds not only my children, but also myself, that each of us- no matter our flaws- matter to God and have been created in His image. How wonderful that the God who created the moon and the stars, also had the desire to create you and I!

"God Made You Special!" is a Christian board book about how God made each of us "just right." It features the VeggieTales crew, and my young nieces enjoyed the colorful, fun illustrations. In the book, the characters explain that God made everything, including you and how you look. He put thought into making you "just right" and you are "his delight." And if sometimes you don't like something about yourself, just remember that "God had a plan. He wants me to be just the way that I am." Overall, I'd recommend this book.

God Made You Special is a 5 STAR book! I love this book because I like the drawings, especially the one with the fish at the beginning of the book. I love the book because it reminds me that God made me special, and He also made everything else on this earth special too. This book teaches kids to look in the mirror and realize that God made you exactly, perfectly as you are. I think kids should read this book because it teaches a good idea that we are all special and not mistakes.

Cute book, but the music button doesn't work on my copy. I need to try to fix it. It is a cute and colorful book, especially for kiddos who like VeggieTales.

Cute book! Gets to them to look at their uniqueness as wonderfully God given rather than some bad or negative. Cute illustrations and wording upbeat and positive.

I love the message in this book, including that the Lord delights in us, as stated in Psalms. It's not too many pages and there isn't too much text on each page. My son, however, loves to push buttons, and this book has a button that plays one extremely loud, not particularly short song chorus. In a perfect world, he would wait until the end of the book to push it, when the veggie characters also say the words of the song, but instead he pushes it over and over all the way through. This makes it distracting and tricky to read the book, but it also makes me laugh.

Another thing is that one page says, "He planned something wonderful-that's when he made you!" I don't like that it says "something" instead of "someone". Maybe they mean the person's personality instead of the person himself?

In theory this is a nice book. It has a great message, cute illustrations and music.
The problem lies in the music. My boys wore the music button out by playing it over and over again. The batteries have now died, but there is no way to replace them. The book isn't worth purchasing again and with no way to replace the batteries its now "broken". The mirror was a nice surprise to find, but now that the music doesn't work my kids have no interest in this book.
