Gregori learned all about pain and submission in Communist Russia, but it wasn’t until he came to America that he was able to make sense of those lessons. Now he’s learned to take the pain and make it the source of his strength, and he’s looking for the Domme who can command his soul as well as his body. Megan sees D/s as a power play; for her it’s not about sex, it’s all ...more

I like this story because it had a dominatrix in it. However, I didn't like Megan. Actually, I did think she was a cold bloody cunt. Her rules about sex w/o BDSM is not realistic unless she is doing it as a job. I felt Violet Summers did a great job showing this. Still, I found nothing about Megan admirable. She came across as an immature girl with Daddy issues. I can't stand these type of women.

I'm starting to notice a reoccurring theme in the Violet Summers story lines. The female characters t

Gregori Lavinkia knew nothing but pain as a child in Communist Russia. Now, as an adult, he has turned pain into pleasure, loving the feeling of submitting to a skilled Dominatrix. But lately, Gregori has a problem. His job as security at Club Velvet Ice brings him in frequent contact with Mistress M, aka Megan Jamison. The beautiful Domme is the only woman Gregori wants mastering him, but though he can tell s

A good story, fairly well written about the growing awareness that the wants and needs of the masculine and well formed body of Gregori a natural sub conflicts with his idealization of the Club's Domme Megan. He wants to be Megans sub for sexual purposes as well as love. Megans needs are in power play and she believes not sexual. Her needs to Domme are as an antithesis to her caring, compassionate yet emotionally draining work in A & E of people's life and death at the hospital. Compounding ...more

Woah, I read some books that had pegging in them (it's one of my favorite kinks) but this scene (at the end of this story) was undoubtedly the HOTTEST I ever read! I liked that every sex scene was completely unique- nothing repetitive here. Sure, there are some holes in the plot, but I hardly NOTICED the plot at all, so...five stars!

It's nice to see a female dominant, but I didn't connect to the heroine, Megan. The word 'sugar' or 'sug' or 'darling' was used in nearly every single sentence she spoke. Reminded me of a cheesy diner waitress. Total overkill that was annoying about 25% of the way through, and never stopped being repetitive.

Loved Gregori. Megan on the other hand was a cold b through most of this book. Didn't like how she didn't do aftercare and instead chose to run away. Finally when she got her head on straight I started to like her.

It was a nice change to read about a fem-dom. The sub was a delicious Russian who I would love to command any day of the week.

The psychology and character motivations were a bit off for me but I enjoyed the read nonetheless.
