I love this book so much. It's one of my favorites from my childhood. I've remembered this book so fondly over the years and was thrilled to find it again.
The book is hands-on - I could fit my little hands into the 'controls' of the submarine, thanks to kid-sized cutouts in the book. The book takes the reader on a journey underwater and there's so much going on - the control panel, the cool and weird fish they see. It's one of those books I read again and again when I was little, and when I saw the illustrations again as an adult, it was like seeing an old friend.
