I love discovering a new author and Ms. Carlo has fast become a favorite! I loved the first two I read by her, Manacled in Monaco and Valentine Voodoo. As a Thankgiving treat after a harrowing day shopping on Black Friday, I purchased every single one of her books, and then gave myself Saturday off to devour them.

Wow! Ms. Carlo writes fast-paced books where every word count. I loved both Terry and Su-Lin, and her descriptions of the Nice and the Mediterranean makes you feel as if you're there. There are several sub-plots in this book, but she blends them all together beautifully, and I loved the way she used the mystery to tie everything together.

I can't wait to read the third book in this series as I fell in love with Harrison Indiana Ford, the Texan cowboy who 'does the dirty' with his Stetson on!

Great story, nice romance, a lot of suspense. I am coming to love Jianne Carlo because I love the way she tells stories. The only problem I had with this story was that it got so convoluted there at the end, it was hard to keep up. I am going to round out the rest of the series because I have to know what happens with Harry.
