Rate this book
Originally published in 1914, the information within this works was written by a keen fly fisher who had been fishing since early boyhood. Its pages contain a wealth of information on the subject which will be found to be both useful and practical to the present day. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original artwork and text.

A solid early treatment of the Noble art of the dry fly method of fishing....the book was written at the encouragement of the author's friends due to his mastery of this method. The method is an art and a science, with a specific underlying theme that the angler must thoughtfully consider and study fish , insect and stream "behavior."
