I was surprised that this book held my 4 year old’s attention due to the length but he loved it. He’s a big truck and car fan.

7 yr reviewer: I really liked this book because it had many different Monster Truck pictures. I never knew there were that many different kinds. I learned that some Monster Trucks have cartoon characters. They have done thousands of shows for thousands of fans. I would recommend this book for all kids..especially kids who love Monster Trucks!

I can't stand this book, however my son adores it, so I read it anyway. I find that the words are a lot more advanced than other Level 3 books, so it ends up being more of I read the majority of the story and my son picking out the sight words. My son loves Monster Trucks, but I find this book, lengthy, boring, and inappropriatly leveled.

This lengthy, nonfiction early reader is a big hit with my preschooler. Filled with lots of interesting info on monster trucks, my kid enjoyed feeling like an expert when he already knew some facts but learned many new things as well. Several specific monster trucks appear in both the text and photos including many Bigfoot highlights. This is a great prep for and extension of a Monster Jam visit.

Well written, and packed with information. I learned quite a bit, and our eldest grandson is sure to love it.

Unfortunately this is one of my son’s favorite books…he even has it memorized. We read it at least once a day.

This book is not appropriate for a Step Into Reading Level 3. There are way too many words per page and really 48 pages? I couldn't even get past the two first pages before my son lost interest and he LOVES monster trucks.
