I don’t know how to determine the legitimacy of a textbook in a field outside my expertise, but this one certainly did a good job summarizing major topics in evolutionary biology. It is with some sadness I came to the book's end. Nonetheless, it has been a fascinating examination of evolution and its consequences. Highly recommended.
Purchased this college textbook to learn Evolution on my own. The chapters are really long and you do get lost in the amount of information thrown at you.
