This informative book gives facts about the sun, starts, and each planet. We learn information like how close each planet is to the sun and how that affects their climate. We also learn about what each planet is made of and if they would be suitable for living beings. You learn that Jupiter is a planet made of gas so no one will ever be able to land on it.

This is another factual non-fiction book, so I was not terrible fond of it. The book gave specific details and pretty neat facts, which made it okay to read. However, I would not read it again mainly because of the topic. This book served its purpose as a nonfiction book giving out information about the universe.

This book would be perfect for a second or third grade classroom learning about outer space. You could even have them split into groups and have them make their own planets.
