I started off being irritated by the frequent typos in the text (Acair may want to have another look), and distressed by the incessant descriptions of the most heinous atrocities mankind sometimes sees fit to visit upon each other. I was almost ready to abandon it. However, I'm glad I did not. Having known Vietnamese boatpeople in the late 70s, this was an eye-opener. I don't give it 5 stars for the reasons above, but more to the point as a contents warning that was not there.
