I spent time in Yemen in 2008. The photographer captures the exterior life in Yemen pretty perfectly, from the wild and crumbly townscapes all across the country to the qat-chewing young men hanging out near the markets in Sana'a. It's not easy to pierce the interior otherwise. Really wonderful collection of photographs here.
