There are some interesting facts about spaceflight and the moon in here, but there was less on the moon than I expected. A lot of the book is taken up with preparations and how to get to the moon rather than the moon itself and what to see there. In addition since this book was published in 1999, and some of the information about "current" and "future" spaceflight is by now a little dated. There are also several cartoons spread randomly through the book which were for the most part really boring. But, it's still a fun read with some interesting facts about space travel hidden in there though. But I would definitely recommend something else if you're looking for a book about the moon, or for a more in depth look at space travel for that matter. This book is just a light overview.
