I originally read this for a paper I was writing on Jewish literature for a college class, but even though I only needed a few stories, I read the whole book. This is an excellent collection of short stories. Some were only ok, but others were truly fantastic. Most were very good. A great aspect of this collection is the variety of the stories. The subjects and style were all varied, but the collection never felt disjointed.
