Chicken Little
Poor Chicken Little! Ever since the embarrassing “acorn incident,” he has been laughed at by Turkey Lurkey, Goosey Loosey, and all the other residents of Oakey Oaks. But when the sky really is falling, will Chicken Little be able to redeem himself in time to save the town from disaster–or will he end up the butt of more chicken jokes? Find out in this dynamically illustrated retelling of the computer-animated instant classic, Disney’s Chicken Little!

This book is garbage. It teaches disrespect to parents, and makes dads look like morons.

This book is the traditional "the sky is falling" book about a little chicken who thinks the sky is falling. Nobody in town believes him and his father seems ashamed of him now. It turns out that it wasn't the sky falling, but a piece of an alien spacecraft. When Chicken Little and his friends try to warn the town they laugh at him and go about thier buisness only to find out that they are under attack from an alien spacecraft. Chicken Little then saves the day.
I would use this book in my class to express how bad it feels when everyone turns their back on you and that just because people say things that seem impossible it's better to ask questions and try to find the truth in it instead of blowing it off. You never know!

June 10, 2009I ADORE THIS BOOK ! Although I've seen the movie for it before I read it, people usually say that the movie is never as good as the book. They were right. There is a moral behind this fictional story, I've learned that things are never what it seems to be, appearance can be deceiving and trust is really important. Although people do not seem like they are trustworthy, you should take a chance because you never know if they're going to be right. Just like chicken little, although he's small and little, he can still be aware, he was telling the truth when society rejected him. LOVE THE MOVIE & BOOK ~!

I've never seen the Disney movie version, but I guess that's what this book is based on. Kinda silly but the kids enjoyed it.
