This book makes for a great preparatory read for Indonesia, although it’s nearly 40 years past its publication date it still holds relevance.

This might be outdated, and I'm not sure if all the information will be useful to me. The intended audience appears to be people who plan to spend a good deal of time in the country. I might only last a week. I think I will be able to figure out this book's value to me once I have more concrete travel plans.

Well, I'm a short month away and... nope!

I picked up the Lonely Planet guide to Bali and Lombok. It has been extremely helpful.
