This was a really good book! I usually consider myself fairly positive, but when covid came around, I realized I was struggling to make myself find more tricks to keep up my sleeve to defeat some of those days that would really get me down. I love how Conti says it's ok not to be ok. Being given permission to just feel crummy some days is nice, especially being a woman who feels the need to overachieve and be super happy, super supportive, and the all-around greatest to everyone. It can be hard to keep that up. This was a great read, with tons of fantastic tips laid out in an easy to follow manner. It's going to be in my regular rotation of reading, whether that becomes every year or more often, I can't yet say, but it will be re-read repeatedly! I can't recommend it more to anyone who needs a little bump in their positivity or a massive overhaul in their entire attitude! I can already think of a bunch of people who need to read it--the question is just how to approach the subject and slip the book their way... kindly and unapologetically!!
