Max and Ruby
Max's Valentine
Everybody's favorite bunnies celebrate Christmas and Valentine's Day in two adorable shaped board books just right for toddlers. When Santa mixes up their stockings, Max and Ruby are in for a big surprise on Christmas morning! And when Ruby uses all the candy to make her Valentine cards, Grandma makes sure Max gets a very special treat. Sturdy pages, simple stories, and colorful illustrations make these two books a perfect introduction to the world of Max and Ruby.

At the core of this BB is the concept of sharing. If you give something special to someone there is a very good chance that you will get something in return. While this BB looks at the ideal type of giving (family giving to each other) I think it is still a very important lesson for small children to learn about.

Valentine's Day Storytime. There is really nothing much to this story at all. Ruby makes valentine's to send to friends and Max is jealous. By the end of the day the postal carrier delivers Max a surprise of his own. My review makes it sound better than it is.
