The magic goose doesn't really know how to be a magic goose. A boy named Seymour has to teach the goose the types of things that magic animals are supposed to do. I love Daniel Pinkwater's mind. Even simple ideas like this one have a vein of subversion and zen that makes me happy in a unique way. ...more
