A fierce Viking Warrior kings falls in love with an Egyptian slave and makes her his queen, inciting his enemies to wage war against him. He goes to battle and each time he is victorious. Upon his return, there is feasting and merriment all around but it is nothing compared to the king and queen's private little ritual that they call, "the victory dance".

Two Stars for Originality

The Victory Dance needed to be a much longer work. If not a full-length novel then at least a novella. Ten pages just isn't enough to tell such an epic historical saga and frankly as a reader I feel cheated. It's a shame because Ms. SilverRain has the talent and the creativity, but this very, short story didn't showcase either.

It was much too short! More character development was needed and background information would have been appreciated. I loved the idea and setting of the story, but was very disappointed in the development. I hope the author gives us a redo!
