Unknown Pleasures: A Cultural Biography of Roxy Music

Rate this book
Roxy Music were one of the most influential bands of the seventies. Remarkably this is the first book dedicated to them and their charismatic frontman Bryan Ferry, since they split up in 1983.
As their dazzling mix of space suits and fifties hair cuts gave way to lounge lizard chic, Roxy Music's ongoing ability to be both pop icons and maintain serious musical credentials has resulted in one of pop's most enduring and original legends. Stylish, witty, eclectic and effervescent, Unknown Pleasures celebrates both Roxy Music and their era.
