Aphrodite's Magic: Celebrate and Heal Your Sexuality

Rate this book
Are you a woman who believes in your own beauty? Do you love your sensuality and live it fully? Aphrodite's Magic is a journey into seven aspects of women's sexuality. Enter the Temple of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and explore the layers of your most private, feminine self. This book will guide you to resolve and heal past trauma, grief and abuse so your sexuality is set free from the past. You will be inspired to honor and celebrate your unique embodiment of the feminine and allow the magic of the Goddess to enter your body with every breath you take. Visualizations and rituals are included to support each step of your journey. Rediscovering seven strands of your sexuality, dancing, journaling and creative processes lead the reader to weave a spell that culminates in a powerful affirmation of self-honoring and sexual embodiment. You can also create your own magical girdle, like the one worn by Aphrodite herself. Aphrodite's Magic will release you from the past and inspire your sexual and spiritual self for the future.

A book of healing, and of great potential - I read it, simply, I didn't work through it in the way that it invites. I don't feel ready yet to take such a journey, but none the less this book has given me a lot of pointers I can use, and that I needed. It's helped me rethink me relationship with my body, and my sexual identity. It's helped me be more accepting of myself as I am, not trying to be as I think people want me to be.

Its a beautifully written, very readable book. The tragedy of it is that so many women need this. So many of us have been shamed, humiliated, abused, taught to hate ourselves, to mistrust our sexual natures. It's good that we're finding ways to challenge this, and that we have this kind of reclamation work. We've a long way to go, but we can celebrate, and we can heal.

Jane Meredith is by far my most favorite witchy author.
Her books really inspire me.
Inspire me to perform and create beautiful rituals that touch the depths of my soul and change me irrevocably.

I have worked Jane's ritual of descent and it has been my most powerful working to date.
A ritual process to Aphrodite, of love, healing and feminine sexuality, will be the perfect counterbalance to my descent.

I have finished my first read through of this book, but this will only be the beginning for me.
I am now ready to work my way through and construct my own girdle, finding healing and spiritual growth in the process.

Thanks again Jane, you have had such a big influence on my life and spiritual growth.
I can't thank you enough.

Beautiful & Inspiring

I think every woman should read this book. I will certainly be going back through, especially since I've read it, and completing all of the activities mentioned. If anything, I will get tons of fun out of it and a pretty, handmade girdle at the end!

Not really what I was expecting, but then I'm not sure what I was expecting. Great book for instructions on making your own ritualistic girdle.
