The teachings of the Apache and Cherokee tribes in particular have come down through the generations by word of mouth. This is the first written document to carry their secrets to the tribes of the world. Concerned about malpractice in the application of crystals these au thentic practitioners of crystal therapy believe that much of the information in circulation today is incorrect-and perhaps even harmful to both the receiver of the treatment and to the crystals themselves. Placing Crystals on Chakra centers is particularly dangerous when several are used at the same time. It is the aim of this book to explain the work which we do with our brothers and sisters the Crystals. Readers will learn about the properties of stones the properties of colors and the electromagnetic fields of the body. Chapters include Purification & Care of Crystals the Different Ways of Working the Three Laws of Healing How to Prepare the Essences and the therapeutic Touch & Exercises.
This book is great for people who are new to crystal work--i also think that people who have worked with crystals already may find some good ideas/perspectives. I basically did a (relatively) quick read through to get a general feel for the book. Now I look forward to going back into the book in more depth. This is the best book I have found for safe use and basic knowledge of crystal work.
This is such a beautifully written book! The lessons that are held within are the treasures to truly living fully and beautifully! So many good passages a book for anyone interested in crystal healing or therapy and any practictioner in the helping field.
At first I was really excited, but as I got more into the book, I really felt that the author was very rigid on his beliefs, and some just didn't resonate with my own beliefs. That isn't to say I'm right and he's wrong or vise versa, I guess I was just looking more for information on American Indian tradition and beliefs in regards to crystal healing. Many other people may find the author's information very helpful.
This book is completely straightforward, bland, and informational. If you are like me and simply interested in learning about the topic and NOT for the sake of learning the practice of crystal healing, you probably won't be reading this in one sitting; there is hardly any literary value in this book other than cold information. However, this book is a great overview of American Indian crystal healing. I went in completely ignorant on the topic and learned very much, but a small amount of previous knowledge would have been helpful because I still have no idea what a spiritual plexus is, which was mentioned multiple times in the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a thorough introduction to various aspects of using crystals and to anyone who already practices with crystals and wants a book for reference from an experienced healer. This was recommended to me by a friend who is interested in the actual practice and was VERY enthusiastic about this book!
Exquisitely written book on the metaphysical properties of crystals! Much of the information contained in this book is not found elsewhere. How to cleanse, charge, clear and wear crystals are properly explained in this condensed wisdom of the ancients!!
It is difficult to rate non fic books, especially about alternative healing. I liked this a lot and thought the author did a good job explaining crystals. I'm a big believer in doing whatever works and the placebo effect. If you are interested in this topic, this is an excellent place to start.
