After quite some time, I decided to read in german again. It is not my mother tongue, but I try to practise it. From the language point of view, the book was running and didn't have serious problems understanding it, which was a nice surprise for me!
Now about the book, it is kind of obvious from the first few chapters that the idea of the book is the organs trade. Some strange deaths, a worrying mother and a curious doctor lead to the revelation of a well organised system of getting the wished organs from poor people from India.
The plot is nicely organised and it follows a quite logical path. The main characters remain within a controlled limit, so as to be able to follow what is happening without wondering who is this person and why did this happen. I have to admit I enjoyed this. In addition I enjoyed the fact that half of the plot takes place in Bern, a city that I visited a few months ago.
This was my first Swiss writer, in an effort to read a bit more writers from the country I live in.
