I wish I had picked up this title fifteen years ago. Unfortunately, it felt dated while I was reading it and much of the art in it had a distinct 90s look and feel to it. Later, I found out that it was a combination reprint from two earlier titles from the same publisher, so even though it was printed in the early 2000s, the featured art is likely older. This title paints fiber arts in broad strokes and has some interesting pieces featured, but the tutorial sections lacked a lot of detail and practical application.
