Highlights were George Dennis, Charles Godfrey Leland, haruspicy, and the mysteries of Etruscan linguistics.

Good general introduction to the history and culture of the Etruscans. For me, the most interesting portion was about their language and the problems involved in deciphering it. A final chapter guides prospective tourists.
