The author's tone is inappropriately flippant. I did learn some, but there are probably better analyses I could read.

An interesting perspective but subject to some rather sweeping generalizations...like this one: "The whole of Huckleberry Finn is a parody of Christian death and resurrection. In this sense it is a secular fable."
