A nice story that takes place just down the road from me near McClennanville. The author was local, and as a side note owned the house my cousin just bought, and has written other lowcountry books. I enjoyed her easy style and she used just about every "southern style item" there is...the food, the shag dance, the turtles, the lifestyle, the clothing, etc. No great all American novel, but a fun story to read.
