Some fascinating stories about hiking in the White Mountains including several tragedies that occurred. I never got used to the title which I think is a turn-off. Especially interesting if you ever thought about hiking in the White Mountains and or have a familiarity with the area. Most of the advice that comes from the adventures and mishaps is applicable elsewhere of course.
