Sean Connery. Michael Feeney Callan

Sean Connery is a study in contradiction. Balding, 62, argumentative and reputedly tight-fisted, he is also regarded as the sexiest man alive. He despises the fame he found in Bond--yet it is the cornerstone of his multi-million-dollar fortune. Born in slum Edinburgh, Connery failed in the Navy, succeeded in amateur soccer, and dreamed of being rich enough to own a piano.

this book was alright. it is a book about Sean Connery and his life before and during acting. i thought that the James bond section was really interesting. i recommend this book to people who have seen the James bond movies.

This is a good book about Sean Connery. He is a Scotsman who grew up very poor but he dreamed about being an actor. He is well regarded in Europe as the best actor they have produced. He has been in some great roles including James Bond (he was my favorite James Bond) but he has made his mark in other blockbuster movies also and has won an Academy Award.

En juuri harrasta elämäkertoja ja paheksun jossain määrin niiden sijoittamista tietokirjojen joukkoon. Faktio eli tosipohjainen tarina olisi ehken rehellisempi luokitus.
