I like this retelling of this classic tale. Her father warns her to go around the forest and as it pours down rain Little Red Riding hood does not heed his counsel and goes through the forest and meets the wolf who has her take even a longer route as he hurriedly goes to grandmas house. I like this telling because grandma is not there and does not get eaten. Also, it is Little Red Riding Hoods father who comes to save her. Great story about listening to your parents!
