In this brief volume, Groenhout lays out basic principle of bioethics in a fair, thorough, and easy-to-understand manner. This book examines the fundamental moral dilemmas at the root of several controversies, such as stem cell research, abortion, HIV/AID, and global healthcare allocation, explaining structures that help or inhibit the establishment of charitable healthcare. It also outlines various cultural responses to these issues, including appropriate Christian attitudes. Highly recommend for the casual reader.
