Altho a little dated in style, this is still a very enjoyable book of crafts, quilting, painting, and even recipes to do for the holidays. Based on the popular song, The Twelve Days of Christmas, there are all kinds of ideas for each verse, making this book very fun. It would be easy to upgrade any project or idea to suit your tastes.

While I don't care for the muted and muddy colours that predominate in the crafts there are lots of cute and clever ideas using the 12 days of Christmas theme. I'm also not a fan of crafts that require a purchased item to embellish, I like to make things. My favourite is probably the felted wool ornaments at the back of the book. Plenty of ideas for decorating and some recipes as well.

Just a reminder that the twelve days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day and continue into January.
