I Love You, Mommy

Rate this book
A perfect gift to share your love with mommy all year long!

The rhyming text in this delightful book thanks moms for all the fun things they do with their children. Lovingly illustrated scenes show moms and kids cheering at a ball game, exploring in a museum, and playing games at home.

Very catchy and fun little book, but it is way too short and doesn’t feel like a story at all, its really just an extremely short poem.

Solidly well done, both girls were excited to see something that they liked in the book (dinosaurs and basketball.)

I absolutely adored this book! I was given this book as a gift from my son for my birthday, and immediately went to read it with him as I knew he would love it. As I began reading the rhyming scheme, my son was intrigued, looking at the pictures with glee, while listening happily as I read each line to his smiling face. I loved the way in which each page had a different mother with her children, showing diversity and happiness with all of the mothers and children illustrated in the book. The rhyming made it easier for children to stay entertained, giving me as the reader a good rhythm to read on to. Overall, a short and simple read, perfect for toddlers who love to look at colourful pictures and listen to fun words!

This book is a great read to anyone who holds their mother close to them in their hearts. This is a classic with beautiful pictures that complement the text in the children’s book. The structure of this book is unique, with every page presenting another single mother doing activities with their kids. The setting changes one every page with something different, which will have students on the edge of their seat to see what is on the next page. I love you, Mommy apart of the family and fiction genre. I can say this book contains a numerous amount of cultural groups that looked different on each page. On each page, the number of characters ranged dramatically but a character that stayed consistent throughout the whole book was the Mother. Reading books like these n front of your students can help kids appreciate what they have because some kids do not have a mommy. I believe in this book I can take some internal lessons to give off to my students in the future.
